Training you can see

Aircraft maintenance is learnt with your hands as much as from books. Most of a Redwings student's week is spent between classrooms, labs and workshops: the engine systems and airframe systems labs, and the radio-navigation, electrical, instrument and battery workshops. In the general workshop, students build basic fitting and fabrication skills on the lathe, grinder and welding equipment before they work on aircraft parts.

Hangar visits and the MRO

The Redwings group runs its own maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) facility with DGCA approval under CAR-145, at MAL Hangar near Suktara Airstrip, Seoni. Visits to a working hangar show students how real maintenance is planned, carried out, recorded and certified, and why safety and discipline matter at every step.

Classrooms and study

Theory classes follow the DGCA CAR-66 modules, from electrical fundamentals to human factors and aviation legislation. Audio-visual classrooms and a library support study for the DGCA module examinations. To understand the full route to a licence, read the DGCA AME licence process.

Events and the National Aviation Tech Fest

Campus life is not only about exams. Students take part in technical events, competitions and celebrations through the year, including the National Aviation Tech Fest (NATF), where they present projects and meet students and professionals from across the aviation field.

The Redwings campus is at the Pragyan Nursing College Campus, Abbas Nagar, Gondermau, Bypass Road, Gandhi Nagar, Bhopal. Bhopal is well connected by rail, road and air, which makes it easy for students and families from across Madhya Pradesh and nearby states to visit.
