How to get admission to Aircraft Maintenance Engineering for the 2027 session at Redwings, Bhopal, step by step.

Updated 10 Oct 2026Reviewed by the Redwings admissions team

AME admission 2027 at a glance

Admissions for the 2027 session are now open. At Redwings in Bhopal, admission to Aircraft Maintenance Engineering (AME), B.Tech Aeronautical Engineering, the dual programme (AME + B.Tech) and Commercial Pilot Licence training is through one test: AMERAT 2027, the Aircraft Maintenance Engineering Redwings Aptitude Test.

AMERAT checks your aptitude in five subjects at Class 12 level and helps you choose the aviation career that suits you. Your AMERAT merit decides both your admission and your scholarship, so it pays to register early and prepare well.

Please note: DGCA does not conduct any entrance exam for Aircraft Maintenance Engineering. AMERAT is the aptitude test for meeting the eligibility criteria for AME at Redwings.
