No. DGCA does not conduct any entrance exam for Aircraft Maintenance Engineering. AMERAT is the aptitude test for meeting the eligibility criteria for AME at Redwings.

Aircraft Maintenance Engineering (AME), B.Tech Aeronautical Engineering, the dual programme (AME + B.Tech) and Commercial Pilot Licence (CPL) training.

Students who have passed or are appearing in 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics, or who hold an AICTE-approved 3-year engineering diploma, or a higher science qualification with PCM.

AME and pilot training need medical fitness. For AME, you must not be colour blind and must be certified fit by a registered medical practitioner.

Yes. Your admission is confirmed after you pass Class 12 with PCM.

Fill the online registration form on amerat.in, upload a recent passport-size photograph and pay the ₹1,000 fee online.

100 objective questions, 20 each from General Awareness, English, Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry, for a total of 400 marks.

Yes. Each correct answer earns 4 marks and 1 mark is deducted for each wrong answer.

The question paper is available in both Hindi and English.

AMERAT is held in online or offline mode. Your admit card shows the mode, date and centre for your exam.

After your fee is paid, the admit card is emailed to your registered email address. You can also download it from the student login or the admit card page.

The AME basic training programme costs approximately ₹4 to 6 lakh in total, paid semester-wise. The admissions team gives the current fee structure in writing at counselling.
