Let your dream take flight
The Aircraft Maintenance Engineering Redwings Aptitude Test (AMERAT) assesses each candidate's strengths and aptitude, and recommends the career path in aviation that suits them best.
AMERAT is the admission test for the programmes offered through Redwings in Bhopal: Aircraft Maintenance Engineering (AME), which leads towards a licence issued by the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA); B.Tech in Aeronautical Engineering; the dual programme (AME + B.Tech); and training for a Commercial Pilot Licence.
Through AMERAT, Redwings wants to open aviation careers to every capable student, not just those who already know someone in the industry. Students who qualify can join our institutes and are eligible for scholarships of up to 100% and other rewards, based on their AMERAT result.
Redwings Group works across aviation: a DGCA-approved aircraft maintenance organisation, a maintenance training organisation, aviation training centres, a drone and UAV manufacturing unit, flying training for pilots, type training for engineers, and air travel and non-scheduled regional air services.

Courses and programmes
Our mission
Since it began, Redwings has worked to raise the standard of aviation technical education in India and to show students how important aircraft maintenance engineers are to safe flying.
We run an awareness programme, the National Aviation Tech Fest (NATF), in association with NSSC, IIT Kharagpur, to guide students who want a career in aviation.
Our aim is to train every eligible candidate to earn a licence from DGCA, Ministry of Civil Aviation, Government of India, and to help them build a lasting career in aviation.
With our own flying training organisation and AME basic training, including type training, we want to give Indian aviation well-trained engineers and pilots.
Our vision
We began by offering career counselling to students who wanted a future in aviation, and mentoring a new generation is still at the heart of what we do.
Many students still do not know how wide the scope of aviation is, and talented candidates miss out as a result. We are committed to giving them accurate, practical information about aviation careers and the education they need.
Many eligible candidates wait a long time for type training and their AME licence. We want to show how this path can be completed efficiently and on merit, so that every candidate can build a respected career with their own skills.
"Everyone should receive what they have earned through merit."
